What do you have in common (academically, personally, etc..) with the classmate whose Blog you chose? Did s/he offer any useful information you will most likely use in the future?

The person I chose was Josh. Academically we are both comming from working full time and going to school. We are both "non traditional" students, him more so than me, but we are both getting use to a learning enviornment that we have not had in a while.

Personally Josh and I both listen to fairly similar music. He much like myself enjoys M.M.A. and we both have girlfriends. Also he enjoys helping people that are in need of help, I am also this way with people. Helping people has been a sugnificant reason for both of us i believe in why we chose what we chose to be our desired professions.

I enjoyed reading his blog about being a non-traditional student. I can relate to much of it, and i can totally see where he is comming from.

What do you feel this course (UN100) should focus on? What do you need help in, specifically? I feel it should focus on the college life, and managing time. Also studying tips wouldn't hurt. I need help on studying and managing time.

Biology111 is a perfect example of what i need to focus on. I love biology, i know and understand it, but i have a hard time preparing for tests. I studied my ass off for the first exam and i bombed it. I even tried different ways of studying, i guess i don't know what works best for me. The weird thing about that exam though is that i thought i knew what i was doing, the material wasn't too bad and i had a good understanding of it, but i failed....
